WW | Points Tracking Desktop Experience

Designed the end-to-end UX for Marvel’s account creation and management experience, covering personal information, password management, notification settings, and Marvel Unlimited membership controls.

Role

UX Designer | Focus: Interaction design, information architecture, account systems, subscription management, usability testing

Problem

Existing account flows were fragmented, inconsistent across web and mobile, and lacked clear pathways for managing personal details, security, notifications, and Marvel Unlimited subscriptions. Members faced friction during sign-up, struggled to update preferences or memberships, and had limited visibility into their account status—leading to higher support volume and incomplete profiles.

Approach

I reverse-engineered the existing mobile app’s functionality and information architecture, then designed a desktop-optimized customer portal. Deliverables included detailed wireframes, site maps, and comprehensive UI documentation to guide development of a seamless, feature-complete web experience.

Outcome

The new desktop portal gave members full points-tracking capabilities on the web, expanding access beyond mobile and creating a more flexible, consistent experience across devices.
